Kate Middleton and Princess Anne are stepping out on their first ever engagement as a pair.The two royals have visited the Royal College of Midwives and Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists headquarters in London, to hear about the ways they’re improving health care for women and their babies.
It’s the first time the women, both patrons of the different organisations, have attended an official visit as a pair. But Royal Commentator Richard Fitzwilliams says their rare appearance together spells an exciting future for the dynamic duo.
Speaking exclusively to OK!, Richard explains: “Catherine and Princess Anne are a royal dream team.This should be the beginning of more such engagements as they have enormous potential as a dynamic royal pair.
Here, Richard shares Kate and Anne’s growing bond and six remarkable parallels between their royal lives. Following tradition “It’s important to remember it was Princess Anne who started the tradition of giving birth in the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington,” says Richard.
