The couple - who met on the set of Ready Steady Cook in 1999 - shared the news of their split on their own respective social media accounts, and reflected on their two decades together.
Sixty six year old Fern – who has reportedly signed up for Celebrity Big Brother – said at the time: "After more than 20 happy years together, Phil and I have decided to go our separate ways.
We will always share a great friendship and our lovely children. We would appreciate it if our privacy is respected at this time.Thankyou for your continued kindness and support." Fern, who shares a daughter with Phil, 22 year old Winnie, has been very candid about the split in the years since - including opening up about the emotional rollercoaster it's created.
