However, as Bernie returned home feeling downhearted, viewers were given a clue that she might be on the right track when the man in question pulled out a jade elephant toy, identical to one Bernie mentioned buying for her son.The plot thickens as we learn that this man is actually Kit Green, a detective brought in by DS Swain to crack the case of missing teen Lauren Bolton.
