Coronation Street viewers 'work out' who evil Joel will target next – and it's not who people think

Coronation Street fans are convinced they've figured out the next target for Joel Deering's (Calum Lill) sinister plans and it seems Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) is not in his sights.This week, viewers of the ITV soap were stunned to discover that the lawyer is actually Lauren Bolton's (Cait Fitton) secret beau and the man behind her vanishing act.The shrewd solicitor has cleverly deflected blame onto Bethany's previous tormentor Nathan Curtis (Chris Harper), who's now been arrested for Lauren's supposed death.

Bethany was on a mission to catch Nathan out during recent episodes, making her a seemingly obvious target for Joel, given her determination to uncover what happened to Lauren.

But now, fans worry that another resident might be in danger of becoming his next victim. Many are predicting that Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) could be in danger.
