George Shuttleworth left Coronation Street fans in suspense over recent weeks as his rocky relationship with Eileen Grimshaw goes through a difficult patch.

George, who’s played by actor Tony Maudsley, had fans talking after revealing that he’d pushed Eileen away because his snoring was so bad that it has ruined every relationship and has even left him being threatened by court.

But though he may be a big hit among fans of Corrie, soap star Tony’s life away from the cobbles is equally as impressive. In fact, before joining the soap back in 2020, Tony had a wealth of acting credits to his name, including appearances in Holby City and Doc Martin.
