Amanda Abbington has starred in a string of TV shows such as Sherlock and Mr Selfridge and most recently swapped acting for the ballroom as she appeared on Strictly Come Dancing.

This week it was confirmed that the 49 year old, who shares two children Grace, 15, and Joe, 17, with her ex-partner Martin Freeman, quit Strictly due to medical reasons.

Amanda and the Hobbit star, 52, were together for 16 years but never tied the knot. Following her star-studded romance, Amanda started dating Jonathan Goodwin in 2021 after being friends for years and the pair got engaged just days later.

Just a few months into their whirlwind romance, Jonathan was injured in a tragic accident which left him paralysed and in a wheelchair.
