Amanda Abbington has broken her silence following her exit from Strictly Come Dancing saying that she's feeling 'really good'.This is the first time the Sherlock star has spoken out after making her 'exit statement' following her decision to quit the BBC dancing show due to "personal reasons".And this week, Amanda returned to host her show on Boogaloo radio and had an answer when co-host Sue Vincent asked her how she was doing.Sue said she was extremely proud of her co-star as she told her: "I am phenomenally proud of you!
I cannot find the words to say how proud I am."Amanda responded, simply saying: "I'm good, I'm really good."The 51-year-old mum-of-two decided to quit the show after four weeks and released a statement on Instagram.
In the caption, she wrote. "It is with deepest regret that I had to leave Strictly," she penned. "I did not come to this decision easily or lightly but for personal reasons I am unable to continue.
It was an absolute joy working with my fellow contestants, they are a beautiful, hardworking and talented group of people who I love and who I will miss seeing every Friday and Saturday and competing alongside." Amanda didn't mention her professional partner Giovanni Pernice at all, despite him paying tribute to her on his own social media.
