Influencer slammed for staging kidnapping plot because she was bored

Instagram model Victoria Rose, better known as Whoa Vicky, has sparked outrage after admitting to fabricating a kidnapping story.The influencer had previously posted a series of now-deleted tweets claiming she'd been kidnapped and held for ransom in Nigeria.

One tweet read: "I have kidnapped Vicky. She is with me in Nigeria. I am demanding $1million for her release," causing widespread panic among her followers.

However, during an Instagram Live on Sunday, Vicky confessed that the entire ordeal was made up. Dismissing the lie as a "little fun" because she was "bored", she tried to justify her actions by saying: "'We kind of got carried away with the joke, you know, we just like to have fun and joke." She added: "I don't drink or go to the club, so this is how I find my entertainment," she argued. "You know, it's probably not the best way to do it.
