Location Collective, the studio owner-operator with credits including Napoleon and The Crown, has announced plans to open OMA V Film Studios, a purpose-made space for high-end TV shows and feature films, this spring.

The new studio will be built in Radlett, Hertfordshire, just outside London. The collective describes the space as the “first high specification film studio facility to be created in the St Albans area, with easy access to the M25.” Site features include 65,000 sq ft of high specification sound stages (1 x 32,000 sq ft stage and 2 x 16,500 sq ft stages), fully soundproofed to industry standard NR25 level, and 35,600 sq ft of production office and support space.  “We are hugely excited to be launching our third film studio in such a prime geographical location for film and TV production, and very proud to have created the first high specification film studio in the St Albans area at such a pivotal moment for our industry,” said Antony Iredale, Founder of Location Collective. “We look forward to welcoming our first production onto the stages at OMA V and delivering the same quality of service customers are already experiencing at our currently operational facilities, OMA One Film Studios and OMA X Film Studios.” Location Collective was launched in 2019.

The company first secured a lease on an existing industrial depot site in Enfield, North London, where it launched OMA One Film Studios, a 120,000 sq ft studio facility with 88,000 sq ft of sound stages.

OMA X Film Studios followed nine months later, providing a further 155,000 sq ft of sound stages within 213,000 sq ft of total production space.
