In the interview that follows this recap, Michael Dinner — who hatched the series revival with David Andron and directed three episodes including tonight’s finale — acknowledges there is every possibility that Givens could be back for one more showdown. The episode closes with Givens not answering the cell phone call to focus on his daughter. For the moment, anyway.
