And the Brazilian winger has dismissed Celtic’s chances in Tuesday’s Euro opener, insisting Arne Slot’s side need three points to challenge Lazio and Atletico Madrid at the top.
Ahead of the clash, the 23-year-old said: “We’re obliged to beat Celtic. Our matches at home are key. “Everyone expects Atletico and Lazio to qualify but that reduces the pressure on us.
Celtic are Scotland’s champions so we respect them. But we’re not inferior and are favourites to win.” Feyenoord are expected to be without keeper Justin Bijlow and striker Ayase Ueda while forward Santi Gimenez, who also netted, will miss out through suspension.
