Idris Elba has suggested he contracted coronavirus from Justin Trudeau’s wife Sophie, after both of them tested positive for Covid-19.

The Wire actor confirmed on Monday that he has tested positive for coronavirus, and jumped on a live Twitter stream on Tuesday night to keep his fans updated on his condition.

And while he didn’t mention the Canadian prime minister’s wife by name, the 47-year-old explained that he was first ‘exposed’ to the virus on 4 March.

On 4 March, Idris participated in a WE Day event, and in a picture shared to Sophie’s Instagram, she posed in front of the WE branding with Idris and Lewis Hamilton.
