etcanada.comWith the Black Lives Matter Movement driving for change to end police brutality in the United States, Idris Elba opened up about the importance of playing the father of a young Black teen growing up in America in the film “Concrete Cowboy”.
The actor also broke the news to ET Canada that he and his wife Sabrina Dhowre now have a new baby boy. Dhowre was rumoured to be pregnant in December 2019, but Elba hadn’t confirmed the news of the birth of their new son until now.
The movie “Concrete Cowboy” had its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday, and Elba joined filmmaker Ricky Staub and producer Lee Daniels and cast for a virtual press conference to talk about the making of this movie.
