Beauty brand Estée Lauder is set to cut 3% of its workforce - equivalent to 2,000 employees as a result of the coronavirus crisis.
The company, which also owns concessions in stores such as Debenhams and House of Fraser, has announced it's talks to axe up to 15% of branches, including department store counters.
The move is likely to affect a number of high street brands which are also owned by the Estée Lauder Company, including Aveda, Bobbi Brown, Clinique, DKNY, La Mer, Tom Ford, and M.A.C.
In a statement on Thursday, the business said it estimates a net reduction of approximately 1,500 to 2,000 jobs globally as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
