Marcel Raducanu believes compatriot Ianis Hagi 's transfer to Rangers was a steal for the Ibrox club. The Borussia Dortmund hero played alongside Ianis' dad Gheorghe for Romania before being cast out of the national team when he defected from the army and joined BVB after a match in former West Germany.
Rangers paid just £3million to snare 21-year-old Hagi on a permanent basis from Belgian side Genk last week. Raducanu has followed his career closely from Germany - and he reckons Steven Gerrard 's side is perfect for him.
