Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Ian Wright has advised Manchester United duo Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard to "relax" after the pair spent the beginning of their winter break training in Dubai.
The Reds pair have had differing, yet tricky, seasons as Rashford has struggled for form since returning from his injury - but capped off his last two showings with a goal - whilst the 29-year-old has failed to cement a place in the starting line-up following a successful loan spell with West Ham.
Lingard's immediate future is uncertain as West Ham and Newcastle have shown interest in the attacker during the course of the transfer window ahead of the expiry of his contract in the summer.
But former Arsenal forward, Wright, has some advice for the pair in the midst of the winter international break. "You do need to be able to go 'no, let me stop', when do you get the time to go 'I'm not going to do anything' sitting there feeling guilty 'my man's working, I should be working argh', take the time to relax," Wright told Ringer FC. "If I'm Marcus [Rashford] and Jesse [Lingard], I know that Jesse is going to have so much going on with him, Marcus we've seen what's happened with him. "We've seen how fickle everything is.
