Ian Poulter was caught farting on TV during the final round of the Travelers Championship. And the Ryder Cup star asked the cameraman: “Did you get that?” The world No.59 shot a closing 69 in Connecticut to finish 64th in the third event back on the PGA Tour after lockdown.
But his final round will be best remembered for letting rip on on the opening tee just after his playing partner Greg Chalmers had teed off.
As giggling broke out, the Aussie told him: “Stay over there. Is that supposed to be more silent than that?” Poulter later tweeted: It was a little breezy first thing this morning.” His Ryder Cup team-mate Lee Westwood responded: "Very solid Poults.” Subtitles on the PGA Tour coverage had the word “fart”.
