Iain Stirling joked that he's 'absolutely ready' to take on fatherhood as he posed in underwear and Yoda slippers. The Scottish comedian and his beau Laura Whitmore are set to become parents for the first time as they announced new baby is on the way, due in 'early 2021'.

The pair, who are said to have married in secret during lockdown, broke the news to fans on Instagram on Wednesday as they gushed about the new arrival.

Iain, known for his love of gaming and Twitch streaming, took to Instagram on Friday as he joked around about stepping up to be a dad.

He posted a photo in his underwear wearing an AC/DC T-shirt and Star Wars themed Yoda slippers and as he wrote: "Thanks for the kind words yesterday everyone.
