Lineker's long-running association with MOTD will conclude when the 2024/25 Premier League season wraps up; this comes in spite of his recent contract renewal with the BBC.
However, he'll continue his affiliation with the broadcaster, leading their 2025/26 FA Cup coverage – a poignant 35 years since he hoisted the trophy as a player.
