A mother diagnosed with bowel cancer is hoping to raise enough money to extend her medication so she can take her children to school.

Jenny Donleavy, 48, was diagnosed with stage four bowel cancer in September 2018. Jenny, who lives in Didsbury with her boyfriend and two children Lucy and Joseph, says she was given 12 to 24 months left to live after the cancer spread.

When her youngest son, Joseph, was only five months old, Jenny started to feel incredibly unwell and was later diagnosed with Norovirus.
