Former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has sent his very best wishes to Ruben Amorim as the new head coach begins to settle into life at Old Trafford.
Appointed as Erik ten Hag's successor on November 1, Amorim arrived in England on Monday, less than 24 hours after taking charge of Sporting Lisbon for the very last time.
Amorim, who is still waiting to obtain a work permit, was greeted by United officials after arriving at Carrington. He was then given a tour of Old Trafford later in the week, as well as conducting his first interview as United head coach. He has inherited a United side that is currently 13th in the standings. Facing an uphill struggle to lead United to a top four finish this season, Amorim is going to have to try and hit the ground running.
