Over the years, it's become a custom among Muslims to break their fast at their favourite restaurants. And in turn, those eateries have risen the occasion, with scores of venues offering iftar deals and buffets.

One of the most popular is the Ramadan buffet at the Indian and Pakistani fusion restaurant Zouk Tea Bar and Grill on Chester Street, just off Oxford Road.

Following a successful first run last year, Zouk is once again feeding the people of Manchester throughout the holy month with its massive menu - that includes curries, carveries, salads, desserts and more.

Zouk makes no guarantee that you will get exactly what you want at the buffet as the options change every day, but there will always be two salads, five starters, three curries and six desserts.
