Ted Lasso's Hannah Waddingham has opened up about her daughter Kitty's budding talent, revealing she's following in the theatrical footsteps of her family.

Speaking about ten year old Kitty, who is already showcasing a remarkable singing range, Hannah attributes it to the performing arts being in their blood – much like her own impressive four-octave vocal capacity.

Remarkably, performance runs deep in the lineage as Hannah's mother, Melodie Kelly, was once principal at the Royal Opera House and took an eleven-year hiatus to raise her children before returning to the stage at the English National Opera. "She then took 11 years off to bring up myself and my brother," Hannah shares, fondly remembering her childhood surrounded by song.

Her family heritage brims with operatic talent; both her parents were singers, which might explain Kitty's natural flair. Hannah mused, "And now my little girl, I hear up in the house, and she's [sings in an opera style] and I just think, 'That's not normal! ' So it's in the blood, for sure." The actress shares her daughter with Italian businessman Gianluca Cugnetto, whom she was in a relationship with for eight years.
