It wasn't so long ago he was scoring a famous winner for Celtic in the Europa League. Now, Olivier Ntcham is right at the middle of a furious Turkish football row that has his club, and Jose Mourinho, up in arms at the state of refereeing.
The French midfielder is now a key player for Samsunspor and scored a penalty in their top-of-the-table clash against Galatasaray.
But they lost out 3-2 in the end - and were denied what they felt was a clear penalty that would have given them the chance to equalise at 2-1 down.Ntcham was scorer of a famous Europa League goal away to Lazio back in 2019 and has found a home again in Turkey with five goals in 11 games this season.
But he was left raging at ref Halil Umut Meler who, having already given them one penalty, failed to give them another. It wasn't just the players that were unhappy either as the club let rip at ref Meler, who they felt had given Galatasaray unfair treatment during the game.
