Michael Owen has disagreed with Roy Keane's criticism of Mohamed Salah and admitted he was surprised to see the Liverpool star substituted against Chelsea.
Salah hit the headlines after his angry reaction after being taken off in the 77th minute at Stamford Bridge. The Egyptian star had set up Luis Diaz's opener and hit the bar with a curling right-footed effort.
With the game in the balance, Salah didn't take his withdrawal well, throwing his arms and ripping off his tape in a public strop.
Keane was unimpressed with his reaction, telling Salah to 'shut up and sit down' in his post-match analysis on Sky Sports. Jurgen Klopp played down the incident and insisted there was no issue.
