Pupils at Alexandra Park Primary School, in Edgeley, have been told they can head into school at 10.30am on Monday so they can properly enjoy Sunday night’s match.

Headteacher Phil Brooke says it’s been a tough year for pupils, parents and teachers and he just wants everyone to properly enjoy the night. “My thinking is just that I want the children to have a great night and not have to worry about school in the morning,” he says.
