As a beauty writer, I fully understand how difficult it can be to find the right cream for your skin type. A good moisturiser needs to be hydrating without being too thick or blocking pores and causing dreaded breakouts.
On the other hand, it shouldn't be too light and not hydrating enough for dry skin. I've tried hundreds of different creams over my career and in all honesty, I've struggled to find one that I would truly love and would buy again.
My skin is prone to blemishes, which means a non-comedogenic moisturiser is an absolute must. I also have dry and sometimes flakey patches which is why I don't tend to reach for water or gel-consistency creams.
