When 23-year-old student Kirah Line finally woke up, she thought she knew why she'd been asleep. She had been unconscious for three weeks, placed in an induced coma after nearly drowning. "I remember being held down on the bed and they asked me, 'Is there anything you'd like to say? '.
And I just said, 'Tell my mum that I love her'," Kirah said of the terrifying experience. The aftermath of the coma was severe - she couldn't swallow or walk, forcing her to relearn these basic functions.
