'I struggled to get through a turnstile because of my size - look at me now'

A retired teacher has lost a whopping five stone this year after an embarrassing moment gave her the motivation to turn her life around for good.

Bev Marsh, 65, says she visited a Premier League match with her husband and struggled to get through the turnstile. From that moment, the gran-of-seven says she knew she needed to change her unhealthy lifestyle.

Bev, from the Blacon area of Cheshire, recalls: “I had great difficulty getting through the turnstile and I felt very embarrassed, and I panicked. She would lose small amounts of weight but it would then go back on again as she was sticking to a strict regime and putting pressure on herself.
