Sick of spending hours modelling your old clothes to sell on Vinted - only for nobody to show a peep of interest? The online marketplace has soared in popularity in recent years, allowing Brits to snap up a bargain or make a little bit of cash from their old clothes and accessories.

There's no selling fees or hidden costs, meaning you can spend your entire profits on a whole new wardrobe! Savvy seller Lisa has sold more than 1,000 items on Vinted, while managing to preserve her five-star rating.

Her secret? A five-word phrase that can get shoppers to buy more items. Rather than make use of Vinted's 'bundle' feature, which gives buyers a discount for purchasing more than one item, Lisa adds the phrase "having a huge clear out" to the product's description. "'Having a huge clear out' makes it sound like you want to shift stuff, that you want to get rid of everything and you're doing it for a bargain," she said in a recent TikTok video. "You haven't said that in those words but it definitely gives people that impression. "These people [will then] go and look at the rest of your wardrobe." Lisa adds that she also uploads similar items of clothing 'together' so people don't have to search through her profile to see if there is anything else they're interested in. "I never sold bundles because I never had bundled discounts on," she said. "[It] doesn't encourage people to go and look at what else I had, but now I put those words [in the description], I have sold countless bundles and big bundles too." Taking to the comments section, dozens of Vinted users hailed the hack, tagging their own usernames for exposure. "Will try it, thanks," raved one person.
