I don't watch any of the soaps, Eastenders and Corrie just don't do it for me. Love Island is another programme that I can't stand - it's definitely not my type on paper.
But each year, without fail, I am glued to my screen when the new series of The Great British Bake Off returns to the telly.
I also can't resist watching the Christmas special, and then there's the celebrity series, The Great Stand Up To Cancer Bake Off.
The latter is back on Channel 4 this evening (March 10) and to mark the occasion, I was lucky enough to meet a former contestant, who shared her experience of being on the show and taught me to make white chocolate and raspberry eclairs and Paris-Brest.
