A woman spent £10,000 in order to get weight loss surgery and dropped six dress sizes - but now wishes she'd "never done it".
Leah Lazarus, 39, said she struggled with her weight for years before deciding to undergo a gastric sleeve procedure. The one-hour-long operation saw more than half of her stomach get removed in the hopes of Leah achieving her dream hourglass figure.
However, now she says she regrets the decision and is the "least body confident I've ever been". Following the procedure, she dropped nearly five stone but now she is forced to wear children's clothes and claims people at work don't even recognise her. I wanted to get surgery, but I didn't want to go abroad because of horror stories. "I felt confident in the private hospital I chose but as soon as I woke up from surgery, I knew something was wrong because I was in unbearable pain.
