Suzan Mutesi, a 38-year-old actor and writer who lives in London, spent her twenties in two long term relationships. But now she goes on dates whenever she does not "feel like cooking".
Having been on more than 1,000 dates since turning 30, Suzan said that her dating life can feel like a "full time job", and for efficiency she now follows unsuccessful dates with an automatic rejection email that reads “it didn’t work out, but it was nice getting to know you”.
With one ex providing her with an allowance and ensuring she had a private car available so she never had to take public transport, Suzan admits she "expects the best" from a partner.
