A woman has reportedly ruined her best friend's marriage - after attending their wedding without any make-up on. The woman was delighted to have been chosen as her long-term pal's maid of honour - fulfilling an agreement they made as children.She supported her friend, Jo, through the preparations for the big day and they worked together on her maid of honour outfit.

After choosing dress, shoes, and accessories together, the 27-year-old told the bride-to-be that she would not wear make-up.She never wears any as she disagrees with the "misogynistic" beauty industry - and she wouldn't change her principles just for the wedding.

She does not shame others for wearing make-up but refuses to do so herself, The Mirror reports.Jo was understanding and took no issue with her maid of honour choosing to go au naturale for the celebration.

But the same could not be said for the groom - whose reaction led to the very early downfall of the marriage.Taking to Reddit to tell her story, the woman wrote: "I was picked to be the maid of honour at my best friend Jo's wedding which happened last week.
