A shop so secret that there are now signs banning you from taking photos or videos inside. I don't want you to know about it either really - no one does who has ever stepped foot inside its magical realm.

Because we all want to keep ALL the cut price cake to ourselves to be perfectly honest. But begrudgingly, I feel it's my journalistic duty to let you know the bargains galore I bagged at the Park Cakes Company Shop in Oldham at the weekend.

And it's really made my Christmas. Unfortunately the secret of this place seems to be getting far and wide of late. Not least thanks to appearances on prime-time documentaries like Inside M&S on ITV which shows how some of the retailer's most popular products are made, like the sold-out "Best Ever" Yule Log that shoppers have been going wild for.
