TV chef Nigella Lawson, 62, had to backtrack on social media today after she mistakenly posted the supposed “vegan recipe”.The cooking pro ended up tweeting out another post to clear up any confusion after fans pointed out that her dish still contained animal products.This afternoon, Nigela tweeted out to her 2.7 million followers: “#RecipeOfTheDay is one that suits both #cookjan and #Veganuary and, frankly, suits me all the time, regardless of hashtaggery; Noodles with Mushrooms and Mangetouts (snow peas to some)."Attached was a picture of a verdant-looking bowl of noodles, topped with lots of delicious looking veggies.
However, Nigella’s recipe actually includes egg noodles, which are not vegan.The vegan diet prohibits all animal products, including eggs, milk, and cheese, as well as meat and fish.
