I'm A Celebrity's Ferne McCann insists she has no regrets despite ‘most disgusting' ordeal

In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, the former TOWIE star admitted that although she was faced with the “most disgusting thing” she has ever had to do, she knew from the beginning what she had signed up for, and has absolutely no regrets.Ferne explained: “You know what you’re signing up for when you’re doing it.“I was incredibly lucky to be given the opportunity.“Yes, eating the spider was the most disgusting thing I have ever had to do and lying in a coffin with snakes wrapped around me was far from a walk in the park, but I did it, survived it and got to experience one of the most incredible couple of weeks of my life.”But despite facing some blood-curdling tasks, Ferne looks back on the intense experience with fondness.When quizzed about her thoughts on the ITV show, Ferne said: “I loved it so much.“Falling asleep under the stars, being cosy in that hammock and sharing the experience with some of the most amazing people I’m still friends with to this day.”Ferne also made a very special connection with Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattinson, which resulted in their friendship.However, she admitted that the Bushtucker Trials, which challenge the celebrities to complete gruesome tasks to earn food, were far from her favourite thing about the show.She recounted: “That was how me and Vick became friends.“I just recently caught up with George Shelley again and we picked it back up again like it was just yesterday.“I genuinely loved the whole thing…maybe not the Bushtucker Trials so much?!“Was honestly one of the best experiences of my life though.”Back in 2020, Ferne told Express.co.uk how.
