A PETITION to ban former health secretary Matt Hancock from entering the I'm A Celeb jungle has hit over 40,000 signatures. The MP has caused a stir since the announcement he'd be entering the ITV show.

With the public making their disapproval clear, an online petition has seen a surge of signatures calling for Hancock to be banned from the I'm A Celeb camp.

The petition named: "He's no celebrity - stop Matt Hancock appearing on I'm a Celebrity", was created by the "Covid-19 Bereaved Families For Justice", who stated his appearance on the show would cause "pain" and "anguish" for those who lost loved ones during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The description goes on to say: "Families were ripped apart by Matt Hancock’s actions, and turning on the TV to see him being paraded around as a joke is sickening."
