I'm A Celeb champ Scarlett Moffatt has issued an all-important caution for the jungle King or Queen of the 2024 series, which will be revealed tonight (Sunday, December 8).The former Gogglebox favourite won the show back in 2016, beating Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas and comedian and TV host Joel Dommett into the top spot to receive the crown from fellow Geordie Vicky Pattison.
Chatting to the Mirror about her own experience - while some sage advice to tonight's finalists - the mum of one said: "I was just on Gogglebox, not many people would come up to me on the street or anything like that, but then when you come out of a show like I'm A Celeb, all of a sudden everyone's interested in what you're doing." The 2024 finalists are Coleen Rooney, 38, Danny Jones, 38, and Reverend Richard Coles, 62, who have spent almost three weeks living in the Australian jungle in the name of entertainment.
While all three have a high level of fame already, Scarlett, 34, says she wasn't prepared for the bright spotlight that came her way after her own win. "I would say to people just make sure they've got a good support network around them," she said. "Looking back in hindsight, I wish I'd stayed up north.
I made the decision of coming out of I'm A Celeb and being like 'This is my job, I'm going to move to London, I'm going to be on TV'. "And I think actually, I should've taken a breath and been like 'right this is going to be really crazy so I need to be around the people that make me the happiest'.
