From Danny Jones and Barry McGuigan’s day one friendship to GK Barry and Reverend Richard Coles' unexpected closeness, the celebs have been making the most of one another’s company.

But while they may have made new friendships, we’re sure that they’re thinking about their friends and family at home too. Over the years, campmates have become known for their sneaky way of communicating with their loved ones by using ‘secret signals’ during the live portion of the show - and this year is no different.

Psychotherapist Dr Belynder Walia from Serene Lifestyles exclusively tells OK! why they might choose to do this. “Secret signals can serve as an emotional anchor for celebrities in the high-pressure environment of a reality show," she explains.
