Maura Higgins’ mum has opened up about her own starring role on I’m A Celebrity - after her daughter revealed she confides in her about her sex life.The 55 year old admitted to being taken aback by some of Maura's most shocking tales, including her unique method of revenge on a cheating ex, reports the Mirror.

On Monday's episode, Maura shared with campmate GK Barry that she tells her mum everything about her romantic encounters, even saying: "And if I slept with a guy, my mum will ask me, 'Well, what was he like in the bed?' and she will get every gory detail." But Sharon was quick to say it was the other war around, with Maura always telling her too much information against her wishes.

She said: "I would say to her on Facetime, 'is everything okay? Are you happy in all aspects of your relationship?' And she would always try and embarrass me by saying this, that and the other and I would say: 'Too much information.

I don't need to know, I don't need to know.' She likes to make me embarrassed." Despite this, Sharon is happy that Maura feels comfortable enough to be so open in the jungle.
