I'm A Celeb's Richard Madeley opens up on hospital dash: 'I didn't know where I was'

Richard Madeley has spoken out on his exit from ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! as he returned to Good Morning Britain on Monday, 29 November.

The 65 year old took a break from the programme on 3 November as he had told his fellow presenters that he was "off to eat things" and would be back after Christmas.

While he had a strong run on the show, he had no choice but to leave Gwrych castle for good after being taken to hospital – which meant he broke the Covid-19 bubble and could not return.

Now, the presenter has spoken out about his time in hospital as he told hosts Susanna Reid, 50, and Ben Shephard, 46, that he thinks he was dehydrated before leaving the camp.
