Love Island star Maura Higgins has revealed a sweet moment that happened in the I’m A Celeb camp that wasn’t shown on TV.The star was celebrating her 34th birthday in camp on Monday 25th November, and in a chat on spin-off show Unpacked, she shared that Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall had made her a birthday candle.
Her revelation came about when she was asked which campmate she would want to be stranded with on a desert island for five years.
Maura answered by saying: “Five years? I’d probably say Alan because he’s very good at creating things. He made me a birthday candle.
He also made little hoops so we could play games, He can come up with all sorts so I feel like I wouldn’t be bored.” Maura had more reason to celebrate on Thursday, as she, Jane Moore and Richard Coles won money for the camp during the day’s challenge, Telephone Banking. The trio learnt they would have the chance to add to their team’s bank accounts, earning much needed money now they are being charged to use the toilet, get fresh water and for treats.
