The 2024 season of ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! has got off to a rocky start, with fans slamming the show due to a technical glitch that left many unable to vote.The opening episode saw a host of stars, including WAG Coleen Rooney, McFly's Danny Jones, Dancing On Ice judge Oti Mabuse and N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos, enter the jungle for the first time.The original ten participants were split into pairs for an initial race to the camp, with Tulisa and Coronation Street's Alan Halsall being the first to reach camp, making them exempt from the first public vote for the Vile Volcano challenge.

However, when voting opened for the trial, viewers found they couldn't cast their votes due to apparent technical issues. Fans took to social media to vent their frustrations, with one tweeting: "It wont let me votee #ImACeleb" alongside a crying face emoji.

Another viewer complained: "Omg is anyone else's voting crashing because we're all rushing to vote for GK Barry...#ImACeleb." Yet another fan asked: "Is the voting app thing not working for anyone else? #imaceleb.", reports the Mirror.

Some viewers were also annoyed about the amount of personal information required to use the app, with one angrily tweeting: "F***ING HELL IVE DOWNLOADED THE APP WHY DO I NEED TO PUT IN MY PHONE NUMBER TO VOTE #ImACeleb." At the end of the episode, it was revealed that GK Barry would be the one to face the next Bushtucker trial - to the Influencer's dismay.The TikTok sensation was comforted by her co-stars after hearing the news that she'll be leaving camp to take on the next challenge - something which left her teary.
