Football legend David had just completed a funny task with Louise Minchin when Dec tried his hand at some more French during a segment with Ant McPartlin.
But rather than speak fluently in the language, he proceeded to throw in random words while Ant addressed the viewers at home in English.
These even included "Arc de Triomphe" and "Renault Clio". Taking to Twitter, fans were quick to share their amusement at Dec's attempt.
