I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! fans have noticed a major change in this year's series, as the traditional method of voting has been replaced.

No longer are viewers dialling in to save their favourite campmate from eviction or to nominate them for a Bushtucker Trial; instead, they're tapping away on the official I'm A Celebrity app to keep celebs in camp.The change has sparked a wave of nostalgia among some fans, with some saying it's "the end of an era".

Gone are the days of campmates having their voting numbers emblazoned on their jungle clothes – a first since the show's inception in 2002.

Now, the future King or Queen of the Jungle will be crowned through app votes rather than calls to a premium-rate number. After the show returned on Sunday, 17 November for the first episode of the 2024 series, one eagle-eyed viewer took to Reddit to discuss the update, noting: "For the first time ever, the campmates no longer have a phone number on the back of their t-shirts!
