ITV bosses are splurging millions to renovate the derelict Welsh castle into an I'm A Celebrity TV set, it has been reported.
In order to make 19th century Gwrych Castle, at Abergele in North Wales, safe, producers have had to install pipes of running water and electrics.
The renovated castle, which has been hired for over £1million for six weeks as an alternative to the Australian jungle, will also have a roof which the celebs will sleep under for the first time.
A campfire that the stars can sit around will be in the unsheltered part of the castle. A source told The Sun : "This isn’t a holiday camp for the stars, but without a roof, everyone would have been utterly miserable for three weeks, which would not make great telly." They
