I’m a Celebrity bosses have shelved plans for blood and gore themed Halloween-style challenges this year, according to reports.

As the show returns in November, it will be set in a Welsh castle for the first time ever due to coronavirus travel restrictions.

And while the spooky Gwrych Castle is said to be haunted, producers are apparently shying away from terrifying the celebs and viewers in the challenges that will win the stars food.

The Daily Star reported ITV do not want to scare off younger viewers in the family show with gory challenges. Instead, they want to embrace the historic setting the 20th series will be filmed at.
