Former Bond Girl actress Jane Seymour has recalled the extraordinary moment when she died and was brought back to life while filming on a movie set.
Describing the moment when her heart stopped beating while shooting in Madrid, she told Joe Duffy on RTÉ’s The Meaning of Life: ‘According to doctors, I did die, I lost my life.’ Jane explained how at the time she had been playing Maria Callas in a movie about Onassis and told the crew: ‘Look, I’m really not well, I think I need to see a doctor.’ The actress said that after the doctor came to set, she was informed she needed to rest for two weeks but that the crew couldn’t afford her the down time, telling her they needed her for filming. ‘They decided to give me an injection of an antibiotic.
