Chilling hidden messages ordering a violent criminal to 'melt the face' of a man and 'blind him' have exposed the brutal world of gangland hitmen trading in extreme violence.

Jonathan Gordon, aka EncroChat user 'ValuedBridge', was involved in a number of a shocking conversations which laid bare the ruthlessness and cruelty of what he was prepared to do for a payday, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Yesterday, the Kirkdale gangster, 34, was jailed for life after a jury convicted him of hurling acid into the face of dad Lee Deakin in a 'barbaric attack'.

He was also convicted of plotting two other similar attacks which were aborted at the last moment, and a series of shootings across Liverpool and Warrington.
